Qualification:
Qualification in Biochemistry would be preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Education Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in medical laboratory technology or in a related field of study
Experience Minimum 5-6 years of laboratory employment, especially within Clinical Chemistry
Fluent in English
Position Overview:
Senior Laboratory Technician is responsible to train, supervise & monitor the junior laboratory technicians for receiving clinical samples, their identification, processing, testing, analyzing, recording, reporting results of their tests, quality control testing & calibration of equipment and devices within the biochemistry section. The senior technician also needs to ensure the production of accurate, cost effective and timely results.
