Primary purpose of the job :

Territory sales managers oversee the daily sales operations of sales representatives that are assigned to a particular geographical area. They train sales employees, develop effective sales strategies, and ensure that sales quotas for an assigned territory are met.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The role of “Territory Sales Officer” performs Sales Development related duties at the professional level to provide excellent support to Sales Department in assigned areas including but not limited to: product promotion, retail sales, retail marketing, client servicing, new business development, etc

  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments with retailers; conduct initial consultation; describe the company’s product line professionally and with an expert knowledge base.
  • Close sales by building rapport with the potential customer; explain product and service capabilities and overcome objections.
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
  • Create customers’ retention by up-selling additional products and services or promotional activities.
  • Recommend new products and services by evaluating the current market trend.
  • Drive sales and revenue targets for a defined territory
  • Generate new business through prospecting, outreach and building relationships
  • Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone
  • Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
  • Achieving the monthly Volume targets
  • Track the performance of all KPIs
  • The productivity of daily planned shops to be visited
  • Ensuring the company products’ availability in the market
  • Promoting new products and any special deals
  • Recording orders and sending details to the line manager
  • Giving feedback on the latest sales trends
  • Adherence to the Code of Business, protocols, and ethics in letter and spirit.

Experience, Knowledge and skills :

Educational Qualifications:   

Intermediate/Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent degree in the relevant field of study.

Relevant Work Experience:  02-03 years of work experience relevant to the job description.

English Language Skills:  Good written and oral communication skills in English.
