Job Description:
1- Site Manager SSSP
a) Accountable for the delivering the planning and preparation phase as well as the execution phase of the turnaround in such a way that the COMPANY’s TA premises are met.
b) Must have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work preferably mechanical in the Petrochemical or Petroleum Refining industry of which at least 10 years as Supervisor, and 5 years as Site Manager.
c) Must have 5 years’ experience as a Turnaround Manager or Leader
d) Educational qualifications: Preferably Degree qualified minimum in Mechanical discipline or standards based qualification.
e) Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. (IELTS 8 Equivalent)
f) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
g) Must be fully aware of safety aspects of working in a Petrochemical industry.
h) Must be fully aware of quality systems and can perform regular audits to convince the COMPANY that he complies with it.
i) Must be familiar with different Process Equipment, welding techniques, welding tools and equipment, testing and quality control measures.
2- Planning Manager SSSP
a) Responsible for managing the planning and scheduling team and for meeting all planning and preparation deliverables.
b) During the execution phase, responsible for managing the progress reporting and management information needed and for integrating approved Discovery Items into the scope and schedule.
c) Must have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work preferably mechanical in the Petrochemical or Petroleum Refining industry of which at least 10 years as TA Planning Engineer or TA Planner, and 5 years as Planning Manager.
d) Must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of various process equipment.
e) Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 8 Equivalent).
f) Must be capable of assisting in QA / QC / HSE compliance audits on site procedures and HSE Plans.
g) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
h) Must be fully aware of different pipes, gaskets and bolting materials.
i) Must be able to organize up to 20 TA Planners, TA Schedulers and Planning Engineers.
3- Cost Engineer
a) Responsible for developing and maintaining a cost report for the CONTRACTOR’s scope of Works, including providing a monthly forecast of Value of Work Done and the Anticipated Final Cost during the Planning and Preparation Phase and a daily forecast during the Execution Phase of the TAs.
b) Manage earned value measurement for accurate forecasting.
c) Review supplier and CONTRACTOR variation claims for correct application of rates and volumes including planned and exception onsite inspections.
d) Manage variation process cycle including submissions, logging, counter estimates and approvals. Prepare documentation and substantiation for negotiation of variations during execution.
e) Must possess a min of diploma/degree in Engineering with Quantity Surveying specialization preferred. Membership of a related professional organization preferred.
f) Extensive experience in downstream oil, gas or chemical manufacturing projects. The majority of the candidate’s experience should have been working as a Cost Engineer, Quantity Surveyor or Contract Manager. Demonstrated experience in all phases of Turnaround delivery will be highly regarded.
g) Can read, write and speak English language.
4- Senior TA Planning Engineer
a) Must have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work preferably mechanical in the Petrochemical or Petroleum Refining industry of which at least 10 years as TA Planning Engineer or Field Engineer, and 5 years as Senior TA Planning Engineer.
b) Must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of various process equipment.
c) Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 6 Equivalent).
d) Must be capable of assisting in QA / QC / HSE compliance audits on site procedures and HSE Plans.
e) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
f) Must be fully aware of different pipes, gaskets and bolting materials.
5- TA Planner
a) Responsible for developing Work Packs that contain the relevant information and break the work down into logical activities and assigning resources, tools and equipment in order to complete the work in a safe and efficient manner.
b) Responsible for coordinating the planning of all supporting services for a particular job and carrying out a multi discipline site visit to the equipment during the planning to ensure all discipline’s work is accounted for in the plan.
c) Must have at least 10 years’ experience in engineering work in the Petrochemical or Power Generation industry, of which at least 5 years have been performed as Planner / Scheduler.
6- TA Scheduler
a) Responsible for scheduling the jobs within the CONTRACTOR’s area of responsibility to ensure work is executed in the most optimum way and to ensure that work fronts are not impacting each other.
b) Must have at least 10 years’ experience in engineering work in the Petrochemical or Power Generation industry, of which at least 5 years have been performed as Planner / Scheduler.
c) Educational qualifications: OND or equivalent relevant discipline or standard based qualification (NVQ level 3) or equivalent. Nb. May be required to undertake Competency Based test witnessed by the COMPANY Discipline Engineer.
d) Must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of various process equipment.
7-Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager SSSP
a) Responsible for managing the HSE aspects of the contract to ensure that ‘Goal Zero’ is met within the CONTRACTOR’s area of responsibility.
b) Must have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical,
Petroleum Refining or Power generation industry.
c) Minimum 5 years in HSE Management position.
d) Must be able to work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
8-HSSE Lead
a) Responsible for managing an HSSE aspect or area to ensure ‘Goal Zero’ is achieved within the CONTRACTOR’s area of responsibility.
b) Must have more than 10 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining or Power generation industry.
c) Minimum 2 years in HSSE lead position.
d) Must be able to work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
e) Must have a received recognised formal training in HSSE Management.
9- Training Coordinator
a) Responsible for coordinating the training and induction of the CONTRACTOR own personnel, SUBCONTRACTOR and COMPANY other Contractors as necessary to meet turnaround induction and training requirements.
b) Maintains a comprehensive record of training required and undertaken. Must be able to organize this for at least 1500 people at any moment in time.
c) Arranges the courses and logistics for delivering training as appropriate.
d) Can read and speak English language (IELTS 6 equivalent).
10- Permit to Work Coordinator
a) Responsible for coordinating the creation, safe keeping, transmittal and timely presentation of all Permit To Start Work documents required to undertake the job in a timely fashion so that the work is not held up.
b) Must have more than 5 years’ experience in the Petrochemical or Power generation industry.
c) Can read and speak English language (IELTS 6 equivalent).
11- Flawless (QA/QC) Inspector
a) Responsible for checking compliance for an aspect or given area of responsibility.
b) Must have more than 10 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical,
Petroleum Refining or Power Generation industry.
c) Minimum 2 years in QA/QC position.
d) Must have a sound understanding of how a QA/QC structure.
e) Must be able to work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
f) Must have a formal training in QA/QC Management and working knowledge of ISO 9001-2015.
g) Must be capable of supporting QA/QC audits & Quality Plan.
12- Flawless (QA/QC) Lead Engineer
a) Responsible for leading the Flawless and QA/QC effort in the CONTRACTOR’s area of responsibility.
b) Must have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining or Power Generation industry.
c) Minimum 5 years in (QA/QC lead position) Turnaround and Maintenance services.
d) Must have a sound understanding of how a QA/QC structure with embedded lessons learnt can provide the foundations of Flawless Turnaround Execution.
e) Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 8 Equivalent)
13- Welding Engineer
a) Responsible for the quality of all welding carried out by the CONTRACTOR and his subcontractors.
b) Must have more than 10 years’ experience in welding works in running Petrochemical or Power Generating industry.
c) Must have 5 years’ experience as a Welding Engineer.
d) Educational qualifications: Must have bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy or welding Engineering.
14- Superintendent (Block Lead)
a) Responsible for managing a distinct area or discipline within the CONTRACTOR’s area of responsibility ensuring that work is being planned and executed in a safe and efficient manner to meet the TA schedule and work standards.
b) Must have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work preferably mechanical in the Petrochemical or Petroleum Refining industry of which at least 10 years as Supervisor, and 5 years as Superintendent.
c) Educational qualifications: HND in Mechanical discipline or standards based qualification.
d) Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. (IELTS 8 Equivalent)
e) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
f) Must be fully aware of safety aspects of working in a Petrochemical industry.
g) Must be fully aware of quality systems and can perform regular audits to convince the COMPANY that he complies with it.

15- Field Engineer
a) Responsible for providing engineering input into the plans to ensure that the work will be carried out in a logical sequence of steps that takes the safety aspects of doing the work into account.
b) Assists the TA Planners and Planning Engineers in developing efficient and optimized plan for executing the work.
c) Assists the TA Planners and Planning Engineers in identifying and specifying materials, tools and equipment to carry out a job.
d) Assists the TA Planners and Planning Engineers in identifying and specifying support services required to carry out a job.
e) Must have more than 10 years’ experience in working in a Petrochemical or Power Generating industry
f) Must have been a relevant discipline craftsman or technician for a minimum of 5 years within the Petrochemical industry.
g) Can read, write and speak English language. (IELTS 5 equivalent).
16- Valves Coordinator
a) Must have more than 5 years’ experience in pipefitting work in the Petrochemical or Power generation industry
b) Can read and speak English language (IELTS 5 equivalent).
c) Must be capable of executing QA/QC and HSE compliance audits on site, procedures and working instructions.
d) Must be able to make sound assessment of sealing surfaces.
17- Lifting Supervisor
a) Responsible for supervising the lifts being carried out to ensure they are executed in a safe and professional manner. This includes managing a group of Riggers and managing the work site to ensure unauthorized people are excluded at all times.
b) Ensure compliance of COMPANY polices and procedure related to Lifting and rigging
c) 3 years previous Heavy Lift Experience in the position working in the Oil and Gas industry
d) A total of 5 years’ experience in Lifting and Rigging
e) Must hold a current Qatar rigging certificate from a recognized training organization.
18- Lifting Engineer
a) Responsible for lifting equipment selection, procurement and ensure all lifting equipment meets the required standards.
b) Ensure all documentation required for lifting and rigging has been processed and correct in order for the lifting and rigging to proceed
c) Produce Lifting and Rigging Method Statements, Plot Plans Rigging Studies, Heavy Lift and Critical Lift packs
d) Ensure compliance of QSGTL polices and procedure related to Lifting and rigging
e) Ensure safety critical elements are maintained.
19- Draftsman
a) Responsible for producing piping isometric sketches for like-for-like piping replacements, checking 3rd party drawings for accuracy and constructability and checking dimensions against drawings of spools handed over to the CONTRACTOR by 3rd Party for the CONTRACTOR to install.
b) Must have been a draftsman within the Petrochemical Industry for a minimum of 5 years.
c) Can read, write and speak English language. (IELTS 7 Equivalent)
d) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
e) Must have suitable qualifications for the job.
f) Must be able to use job-related software such as Auto CAD.
20- Materials Controller
a) Responsible for managing all materials aspects for work within the CONTRACTOR’s area of responsibility, including the setting up and running of a warehouse, receiving materials from the COMPANY, ‘bagging and tagging’ by job, safe keeping and preservation of materials, issuing and managing materials returns.
b) Must have more than 5 years’ experience in Engineering works in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining industry.
c) Must have 5 years’ experience in warehouse management and petrochemical materials procurement.
21- Logistics coordinator
a) Responsible for developing and managing the logistics plan for the turnaround execution including, but not limited to transport of manpower, transport of equipment materials and equipment leaving/arriving, catering arrangements, optimal siting of lunch and rest tents, toilet blocks, showers, refreshment stations, temporary site accommodation.
b) Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the Petrochemical industry.
c) Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Logistics Coordinator or Engineer.
d) Can read, write and speak English language. (IELTS 7 equivalent).
e) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
22- Admin Manager
a) Responsible for managing the administration and time keeping aspects of the site workforce.
b) Can read, write and speak English language. (IELTS 7 Equivalent)
c) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
23- Admin Assistant/ Time Keeper
a) Must have more than 4 years admin experience
b) Educational qualifications: Relevant Qualification.
c) Can read, write and speak English language. (IELTS 7 Equivalent)
d) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
24- Storeman
a) Must have more than 4 years’ experience in Engineering work in the Petrochemical or Power Generation industry.
b) Educational qualifications: Relevant Qualification.
c) Can read, write and speak English language. (IELTS 5 Equivalent)
d) Must be capable of executing QA/QC / HSE compliance audits on site, procedures and HSE Plan.
e) Must be able to organize materials and equipment, control in/out of stores materials.
25- Industrial cleaning Supervisor
a) Able to interpret Engineering drawings and have knowledge of Oil and Gas industrial Plant.
Have had approximately six (6) years further suitable experience with a minimum of two (2) years satisfactory Supervisory experience.
b) Educational qualifications: OND or equivalent relevant discipline or standard based qualification (NVQ level 3) or equivalent. Nb. May be required to undertake Competency Based test witnessed by the COMPANY Discipline Engineer.
c) Must be able to read, write and speak English.
26- Mechanical Supervisor
a) Must have more than 10 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance works in the Petrochemical or Power Generation industry of which at least 5 years has been performed in the role of a Mechanical Supervisor.
b) Must have 5 years’ experience as a mechanical craftsman.
27- Electrical Supervisor
a) Must have more than 10 years’ experience in electrical maintenance work in the Oil & Gas or Power Generating industry of which at least 3 years must be at Electrical Maintenance Supervisory level.
b) Educational qualifications: OND or equivalent relevant discipline or standard based qualification (NVQ level 3) or equivalent. Nb. May be required to undertake Competency Based test witnessed by the COMPANY Discipline Engineer.
c) Must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of various process equipment.
d) Must be able to read, write and speak English to IELTS level 6 equivalent.
