Minimum Qualifications:
Fluent knowledge of English language (Speak, Read and Write).
Certification from High School.
Three years technical engineering diploma in instrumentation engineering (polytechnic/HND) will be preferred or
Two years relevant trade certificate with relevant more years of experience (ITI / ND). from recognized institution
Minimum Work Experience:
Minimum work two to six years’ experience as an instrument Technician Aluminum smelters, Petrochemical Plant or heavy industry.
Ability to perform work normally performed by this craft independently.
Experience as an Instrument Technician in Aluminum smelters, power plant, petrochemical, Oil, and Gas plan will be an added advantage Job Requirements (but not limited to)
Understand and follow plant safety standards and procedures.
Understand and follow standard maintenance procedures.
Understand and follow manufacturer’s troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
Correctly use and care for test and calibration equipment.
Follow good housekeeping practices.
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electronic and “smart” instruments.
