Primary purpose of the job :

Sales officers are executives that work with companies’ sales teams to determine the best strategies to increase customer purchases. They assist higher management in developing reasonable sales goals, oversee the activities of sales employees, and collaborate with marketing teams to expand brand presence.

Duties and responsibilities :

  • The role of “SO/DSF/Order Booker” performs Sales Development related duties through booking order and ensuring executions at the professional level to provide excellent support to Sales Department in assigned areas including but not limited to: product promotion, retail sales, retail marketing, client servicing, new business development, etc.
  • Ensure implementation of the Annual Operating Plan of which the Key Performance Indicators are
  • Achieving the monthly Volume targets
  • The productivity of daily planned shops to be visited
  • Ensure products’ availability in the market
  • Coverage Expansion as per the aligned fiscal objective.
  • Monitoring market prices locally and internationally for comparison and foresee decline/increase in prices in order to plan to order
  • Effective utilization of promotional budget by distributor and DSR
  • Identify stock requirements at the warehouse and send the respective orders as per the agreed norms.

Capability development of distributors and distributor workforce

Experience, Knowledge and skills : 

Educational Qualifications: Intermediate/A-Level from a reputable institute

Relevant Work Experience: 01-2 years of work experience relevant to the job description.

English Language Skills: Basic written and oral communication skills in English.
